



CTIC combines 20 years of practice in Australian education with the management team’s 15 years of industry experience both onshore and offshore in Asia.
Principal Executive Officer: Robyn Wills
Robyn Wills is the Principal Executive Officer of CASS Training International College. She has been at the helm of the organisation for 20 years having been a founding member of the College when began in late 1989.
Robyn commenced her career in training in 1985 with TAFE NSW and has qualifications in Front Line Management and Training and Assessment as well as specific areas of business training.
CASS Training has grown from a small College offering two business courses into a multi-faceted College offering a multitude of courses and programs to both domestic and international students as well as English courses for international students. The College has been presented with many awards over the years for industry training.
Robyn remained with CASS Training International College when the College acquired new directors in January 2008.
Managing Director: Jindi Thind
Jindi Thind is one of the current directors actively guiding the direction and expansion of Cass Training International College. He has a degree in Bachelor of Technology (Electrical Engineering).
Jindi has extensive experience in IT training and was a founding member of ICOM Training in 1992 and carries a number of Certifications from Microsoft, Lotus and Novell.
In 1997 Jindi commenced operations in Asia, as the Managing Director of a prestigious NIIT training institute franchise based in Kuala Lumpur. NIIT is a Global leader in IT training and solutions. This institute was later expanded to become EduTrain College offering accredited courses in Kuala Lumpur in IT, Accountancy and Business courses as well as English for Malaysian students. In 2006 this College was approved by the Malaysian Government to enrol international students and today has substantial numbers of international students from Nigeria, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
In January 2008 Jindi became the Managing Director of Cass Training in Coffs Harbour.

Steven Layton James is the Academic Manager at CTIC and has over 30 years of experience in education including ELICOS, VET and Higher Education institutions. He holds a Master of Education and qualifications in TESOL.
His extensive experience in ELICOS has led NEAS to invite him to speak at its conferences for directors of studies. He has delivered papers at EA Conferences and written articles for journals. He has also conducted research into consumer behaviour in the export education market.
At CTIC, Steven draws on his extensive experience in education to ensure our ELICOS programs, teachers and commitment are of the highest standard.

I started teaching English in Italy in 1990 and since then have taught all sorts of people including, business men and women, and study tours. I have taught General English, IELTS Preparation and Academic English.

What’s the best thing about teaching?
Obviously the students; meeting them and learning about their country and culture.

Hanging out in the afternoon on the beach.

I started teaching English over 10 years ago and have taught in Japan for around 7 years and have also taught ELICOS in Australia for 3 years. I have been lucky enough to also teach English in Thailand.

The reward - I love when students tell me they have used what they learnt in our class the week before.

I have worked in the Beauty industry for 8 years, and taugh for the last 3 at CTIC and TAFE. I have run my own salon in the past and bring that experience into the classroom to share with my students.
