Intercity Travel

Travel from Coffs Harbour to other major Australian cities is easy with buses, trains and planes all servicing the city. Virgin Blue and Qantas both fly to Coffs as well as other regional airlines. Accommodation

Hostel Accommodation can be a good place to stay when you arrive and cost you from $25-$38 a night for a bed in a shared room. Work

Students with student visas are entitled to work up to 20 hours a week once they have commenced their studies and full time during holidays. The type of work available in Coffs Harbour ranges from restaurant, retail, cleaning work and also fruit picking thanks to the many fruit farms in the area. The Coffs Harbour region boasts beautiful, unspoilt beaches and landscape to explore.

Dolphins can often be seen frolicking in the water, and kangaroos and other wildlife are commonly seen.

The uncrowded beaches are the perfect place to try surfing. There are two Golf courses, parks and reserves for bushwalking and exploring, rivers to kayak or try your hand at fishing. You can also snorkel or learn to scuba dive.

For those that prefer the indoors, there are cinemas, plenty of restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars to dine or drink out at.
